Cameroon International Tourism Fair

Introduction

This yearly event is aimed at showcasing tourism in all its aspects and held its maiden edition in November (4th-6th 2021) at the historic Botanic gardens, Limbe.

Cameroon International Tourism Fair, organized by Flora Travel and Tours Co. Ltd, in partnership with Limbe City Council under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Leisure. Is a strategic initiative aimed at advancing sustainable tourism practices to promote tourism and create jobs in the tourism sector, while impacting local communities in Cameroon and in participating countries; creating a conducive environment to encourage, promote and facilitate Intra African and global tourism. This annual event brings together Government leaders, Private sector stakeholders, development agencies, civil society organizations and youth to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing and impactful action toward a more sustainable and resilient tourism sector in Africa.

The event is driven by the remarkable success of tourism in the East, South, and Northern African regions. It raises a crucial question: why is the Central Africa Region, rich in touristic potential, so underrepresented? This region deserves much greater visibility.
